Me looking brave before taking to the air (and the wing) of the plane. Wow, it was cold !! But the whole experience was totally exhilarating.

Jan's Blog

Computers and the internet are amazing things. One of my concerns with putting together this site was that it could remain current, yet with all my travelling I've often much to say, but little time to say it. Years ago when reading the news it would take me days on end to reply to the kind letters people sent. Now, with the magic of the modern age, I can keep you up to date with what I'm doing and other events in my life.

Date: 19th December 2008

I apologize for there not being any up to date info. recently - I seem to have been chasing my own tail.

I'm now in a flat spin trying to pack and get everything ready for a Calypso Cruise.  I'm actually working and giving several talks whilst we wend our way across the Atlantic on the Aurora.  Please pray for Calm Seas as I'm not the best sailor in the world.

Can't believe this is my fourth cruise in a year - but I really do enjoy giving my talks - that's the actress in me - and I love meeting new people.

So we set sail on the Aurora tomorrow and have six days at sea, including Christmas Day and then, sort-of 'island hop' around the Caribbean. In true Cruising style, we only get a day at each island but I suppose it's enough to give one a taste.  I shan't be getting off the ship in Antigua - spent a holiday there with someone very special and don't want the memories re-awakened.

Will be back in the Uk in time to celebrate my Birthday - if celebrate is the right word - I'm fast approaching the stage where I'd rather forget them.

Anyway, I promise I'll try and fill the Pages with stories and exciting doings for 2009.  Won't be able to tell you anything whilst I'm away on the Cruise as, unless someone shows me how to get on line on the ship, I shall be off the Internet until 3rd January.

Meanwhile, may I wish you a very Happy Christmas and a Healthy and Happy New Year.

Fond greetings, Jan.
