My Diary Dates
I think I can safely say that Cash in the Celebrity Attic was definitely a great success for 'Orchid' - my website had 600 hits just after the programme and Orchid's website climbed noticeably. They've got the kind of publicity you can't pay for - so keep up the good work all you chaps and either check yourself or get your partner to check you. Testicular Cancer has a very high success rate for treatment provided it is detected early. I coined the phrase and I shall go on using it - check your "Bits below the Belt".
Do visit the site regularly as I'll be able to let you know where in the country I'm going to be. And, just on the off chance you may want to tune in, I'll alert you to any appearances coming up on TV or Radio. Where possible we'll also put up some clips, but do be patient with us, as the internet grows, copyright becomes a bit of a minefield !!!
Last year I wingwalked to promote the Shoreham Air Show which benefits the RAFA Charity. This year I'm attending again on their Press Day, Friday 15th August, and this time will be flying with The Blades - a four-ship team of Ex Red Arrows who do a spectacular display. I flew with the Arrows at Scampton in 1983 - so it will be great to be flying in a display not unlike that of the Arrows. The Blades are unique and if you look them up on the Internet you will find out all that they do including Corporate hospitality where you too can fly with these great guys.
All I hope is that I cope as well as I did with the Arrows all those years ago. One doesn't wish to be sick in front of such glamorous chaps although I do know a very famous macho guy who flew with the Arrows and was ill. So wish me luck. Jan
