Me looking brave before taking to the air (and the wing) of the plane. Wow, it was cold !! But the whole experience was totally exhilarating.

Jan's Blog

Computers and the internet are amazing things. One of my concerns with putting together this site was that it could remain current, yet with all my travelling I've often much to say, but little time to say it. Years ago when reading the news it would take me days on end to reply to the kind letters people sent. Now, with the magic of the modern age, I can keep you up to date with what I'm doing and other events in my life.

SPIRAL - French Crime drama

Date: 16th March 2013

SPIRAL

Oh dear – what am I going to do with my Saturday evenings. Almost the highlight of the week watching the double bill of Spiral for the last six weeks.

It really was aptly named Engrenages – cogs, wheels, spirals. There were so many interconnecting filaments and so much corruption in the police and the judiciary.

I’ve been told by a friend that, apparently, there are two more series planned. Mind you I was very very disappointed that Pierre is still under the spell of the red-headed witch Maitre Karlsson. I cannot forgive her for her corruption and for endangering the lives of so many and am unable to understand why Pierre can’t see through her. Mind you, I am totally under his spell having fallen for him in the Mr. Selfridge drama.

He is now running a close second to my heartthrob – Mark Harmon in NCIS. Sad creature aren’t I – still I can dream.

(Tongue in cheek – well partly - Jan)
