Shoreham Airshow 2007
Me looking brave before taking to the air (and the wing) of the plane. Wow, it was cold !! But the whole experience was totally exhilarating.
Computers and the internet are amazing things. One of my concerns with putting together this site was that it could remain current, yet with all my travelling I've often much to say, but little time to say it. Years ago when reading the news it would take me days on end to reply to the kind letters people sent. Now, with the magic of the modern age, I can keep you up to date with what I'm doing and other events in my life.

DINNER WITH RENÉ MOUCHOTTE
As I mentioned in one of my Blogs from Paris, Mireille, on my behalf, made contact with René Mouchotte in Paris.
He was in London on business and invited me to join him for dinner. I took much of my research with regard to his illustrious cousin and I think he was quite impressed that I’d worked so hard at getting information.
Anyway, he has just informed me that René’s sister Jacqueline was still alive in 2008 and that her son is a lawyer and a Reserve Colonel in the French Air Force. He would only have been a young boy during World War II but he might just have some memories of his famous Uncle.
This link with René is invaluable and so I press on with my investigations.
It might have been fanciful thinking on my part, but I felt I could see a faint family resemblance between the two René’s
