Shoreham Airshow 2007
Me looking brave before taking to the air (and the wing) of the plane. Wow, it was cold !! But the whole experience was totally exhilarating.

Jan's Blog

Computers and the internet are amazing things. One of my concerns with putting together this site was that it could remain current, yet with all my travelling I've often much to say, but little time to say it. Years ago when reading the news it would take me days on end to reply to the kind letters people sent. Now, with the magic of the modern age, I can keep you up to date with what I'm doing and other events in my life.

BREXIT

Date: 2nd March 2016

Whichever way you wish to vote is or should be your choice based on the facts as given to us.

I think Politicians forget that they are supposed to be 'our servants' and they are in power to carry out the wishes of the majority.

Personally I feel David Cameron is taking an 'unfair advantage' over those Ministers who are brave enough to stand up for Brexit.  They have put their political futures on the line - and we all know how much politicians in general love 'Power'.

But the odds are being stacked against them IF what one reads in the press is to be believed.  Are they really going to be put at a disadvantage by not having access to all the information they need via Government departments?  Is Mr. Cameron working on such an 'uneven playing field' as this link would suggest?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3471653/Downing-Street-demands-vet-speeches-planned-WORLD-LEADERS-make-sure-don-t-damage-David-Cameron-s-bid-Britain-EU.html

I am not well versed enough in all the arguments to know what would be best for our country but there is a great deal of 'scare mongering'.  What I wanted was for Mr. Cameron to bring back control of our borders and a break from the stupidity of so many of the rules imposed upon us by the bureaucrats in Belgium - a place where it seems hundreds 'dip their noses in the trough' and where the accounts have not been properly audited for over 20 years.

What I want is honesty on both sides - To stay and To leave - so that we, the public, can make an informed choice on information given on a Level Playing Field.
