Computers and the internet are amazing things. One of my concerns with putting together this site was that it could remain current, yet with all my travelling I've often much to say, but little time to say it. Years ago when reading the news it would take me days on end to reply to the kind letters people sent. Now, with the magic of the modern age, I can keep you up to date with what I'm doing and other events in my life.

Am I the only person to whom this continually happens or are there other poor souls out there with similar experiences.  I don't travel much these days but because of my loyalty to BA and the points accrued with Air Miles (nearly always unusable when I wished to fly!) and I really loathe having to do business through the Internet.  However over the last few years whenever I have tried using the site, as I did today to rectify my personal details, the message was that the site was not responding and this has happened several times in the past.  I won't go into all the problems that caused when in Australia visiting my son.

I do prefer to talk to a person but that too is an impossibility.  Today the minimum waiting time was 15 mins and from experience I would reckon on considerably longer.

Because of the problems I've had over the years, and although the Website looks very swish, I am beginning to wonder if it is actually fit for purpose.

BA isn't the only site where you find it almost impossible to alter details or even get through to an operative.  I tried and tried to get through to Green Flag to cancel my cover as I received automatic cover with my new car.  Could I get through - No.  Eventually I gave up trying and thus lost out on a refund.  Perhaps this is what is meant to happen so that eventually you give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!
